What’s happening with Trance? You hear people complaining that trance isĀ dead, to slow or even calling it Trouse. There are those that think trance died when Dutch Trance artists like Rank 1 became popular. There are people that think trance died around 2003 when Tiesto and Armin started selling out arenas and making their productions more commercial. There are people who think trance died around 2009 when Armin Van Buurens A State of Trance 2008 won best compilation of all-time. I personally think A State of Trance 2006 should of one that title.

WHY CAN’T DJS KEEP THE LEVELS OUT OF THE RED?

Think about this for a moment, were playing music in a high volume situation were sound quality is important and distortion sounds very bad, so why can DJs keep the levels on the DJ mixer out of the red? This issue is more complicated than you might think. It could be that many DJs are un aware of what the level meters and 0dBfs mean or is it bad monitoring or ear fatigue?
